Since 1961, T. S. Tong & Co. has maintained a substantive presence in the legal profession of Hong Kong.

Over the past half-century, the firm has not only well served our clients, it has also been unreservedly making contribution to the development of the local legal profession, with the foresight of our founder, Mr. T. S. Tong, serving as the President of the Law Society of Hong Kong in 1983/84, and the partners of the firm serving various roles for the Law Society from time to time. In recognition of his distinguished service to the Law Society, to the Council and to the development of the practice of law in Hong Kong, Mr. T. S. Tong was admitted to the Roll of Honour of the Law Society of Hong Kong in May 2012.

  The firm has an active general practice with emphasis on the following areas:-
   
  1) The firm has a niche practice on personal injuries, employees’ compensation, insurance and insurance-related litigation representing major insurers in Hong Kong. The firm previously served as a member of the Panel Solicitors appointed by the Law Society of Hong Kong for the purpose of defending claims made against solicitors seeking an indemnity under the Professional Indemnity Scheme.
     
  2) Our insurance team provides not only legal advice but also assistance
with strategies.

  7) Other areas of practice handled by the firm include contentious and non-contentious probate cases.
     
  The firm maintains close ties with other foreign law firms in the region and has capability to provide a comprehensive range of legal service for South-east Asia including cross-border legal services involving Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand as well as legal work relating to China.
 

Our People

  Our team consists of 4 partners, 3 consultants and 3 associate solicitors together with over 20 supporting staff members. With the progressive pace of the dominant use of Chinese (local) language in Hong Kong courts, all of our solicitors and supporting staff are bilingual to suit the needs of clients.

Trainee Solicitors


We provide top quality training to the young generations of the legal professional field and prospects of employment after the traineeship.
